X1 Games portal is open in beta
Four games at launch. Matches settle on chain and pay non-transferable XP.

X1 Games is X1 Labs' gaming portal at play.x1games.fun. In beta it hosts four X1 Labs games, Chess Arena, Tetris Rush, Drift and Block Breaker, and every verified match pays X1 Points (XP) to the player's wallet.
How it works today
- Play a match: 30 to 55 XP. A win adds 25, and each win in a streak adds 10 more.
- Daily quests pay 120 XP and weekly quests 500. Tournament placings pay up to 1,000.
- Each game has an XP multiplier: 1.5× for Chess Arena, 1.25× for Tetris Rush, 1.1× for Drift and 1× for Block Breaker.
- XP is tied to the wallet and cannot be transferred. The beta has no money in and no money out.
What it is building toward
The X1 Games repository describes something bigger than a portal: a settlement layer for wagered play. Players stake XNT into an on-chain match, the game runs off chain at full speed, and the chain pays the winner when the result is attested. Games can choose how much to trust that result: signed by the operator, co-signed by both players, open to challenge, or proven with zero knowledge. XP is kept on chain per game and is deliberately not tradeable, so it can be used for matchmaking and rankings without being farmed for money.
Why it's good for X1
Games are one of the few things that bring people on chain every day. A shared match program and SDK mean a small studio, or an AI agent, can add escrow, payouts and leaderboards to a game without writing that code itself, and every match creates XNT transactions. The design also avoids the play-to-earn token schemes that broke earlier blockchain games.
What to watch
- It is a beta. Treat the player and match counts on the portal as indicative.
- Wagered play is regulated in many places. Check where it is allowed before real stakes go live.
- Studios can apply through the developer portal to list their own games.
