Holders of vested XNT could claim from 19:13 UTC on 6 October. The first claim releases a quarter of each grant's principal plus all yield earned so far. The rest of the principal unlocks monthly until October 2029.

What it is

Vested XNT belongs to people who signed agreements: early backers, contributors and partners. It sits in an on-chain vault and unlocks on a schedule. 6 October was the cliff, the first date anything could be released. The portal at vesting.x1.xyz is the only way to claim.

How a claim works

  • Connect the wallet named in your signed agreement and accept the terms.
  • Pick a pot, Principal or Yield, and an amount. You can take part now and the rest later.
  • Choose Claim & stake to send the XNT straight into the X1 delegation pool, earning from the next epoch, or Claim to wallet.
  • Each grant needs its own signature, so a wallet with several grants signs several times.

Why it's good for X1

Unlocks on a published schedule are healthier than surprises. The monthly release until 2029 spreads new supply over three years instead of one day. The one-click Claim & stake option means XNT can go straight back into securing the network rather than onto an exchange, and nothing has to be claimed at once: unclaimed XNT stays in the vault with no deadline.

What to watch

  • Phishing. X1 Labs said it will never DM first and never ask for a seed phrase. Use vesting.x1.xyz and nothing else.
  • Ledger users may see a one-time Chrome prompt to allow the device. That is expected.
  • Claiming to a wallet and selling adds supply to a market that is still thin. Claim & stake avoids that.

At 19:13 UTC you can claim: • 25% of your principal (the cliff unlock) • All the yield you have earned so far After this, more principal unlocks every month until October 2029. How to claim: 1. Go to vesting.x1.xyz and click "Connect Wallet". Use the wallet you gave in your signed papers. 2. Accept the terms. 3. Pick a pot (Principal or Yield) and an amount. You can claim part of it now and the rest later. 4. Choose one of the two buttons: • "Claim & stake": one signature. Your XNT goes straight into the X1 delegation pool, and rewards start at the next epoch. • "Claim to wallet": the XNT goes to your own wallet. 5. Approve in your wallet. If you hold several grants, your wallet asks once for each grant. Good to know: • There is no rush and no deadline. Whatever you do not claim stays safe in the vault. • Ledger users: Chrome may ask for permission to use the device the first time.
